微信支付已完成对国际银行卡用户服务的全面升级。

现在，境外用户使用微信支付绑定外卡后，可在境内包括餐饮、交通、酒旅、商超等领域的绝大部分商户使用移动支付，同时可使用扫码与被扫码、小程序支付、免密代扣、App内支付等多种支付方式。

另外，为了支持外卡用户小额高频的消费需求，微信支付将承担单笔交易金额人民币200元及以下的外卡交易手续费。

到目前，护照、港澳居民来往内地通行证(回乡证)、台湾居民来往大陆通行证（台胞证）、港澳居民居住证、台湾居民居住证、外国人永久居留身份证等都可以用来开通微信支付、绑定国际银行卡了。
